Farm Friday Work Parties
Come get your hands dirty with our farmers! Work parties are Fridays from 2-4pm May 6th – October 28th.Help tend and weed the fields, plant starts, harvest, and much more! Work party tasks vary with the seasons and may include tending the farm crops (weeding, mulching, watering) or caring for the livestock (adding bedding to the worm bin, cleaning the chicken coop). If you have any special needs, please let us know ahead of time and we will do our best to accommodate.
Open to the public. Ages 8-17 welcome with an adult. Parties of 5 or more please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to RSVP.

Field Trip Leaders
Lents International Farmers Market
Weekly volunteers make our market thrive. Help set up or breakdown the market or talk to market shoppers. Help get the word out by putting up posters and circulating flyers. We also offer an “Adopt-a-Market” program that’s great for groups interested in volunteering on market day to help with all aspects of running the market.
Are you excellent with computer work, mailings or other office tasks and able to make a regular commitment for a period of at least three months? Please fill out our Volunteer Application and indicate your interest in office volunteering.
Share our message of good food for all at outreach and fundraising events on the farm, in our neighborhood and around the city. Gain skills in outreach and meet community members and local food leaders at Portland-area events.Ambassadors are asked to commit to at least two events per month for at least four months.
